Calling all outdoor enthusiasts! As part of The Outdoor Fair happening 4 – 5 May, we are organising an adventure trek & climb sharing session. It is with great honour and privilege to have Mr Edwin Siew, Mr Teo Yen Kai, and Ms Lee Li Hui as our esteemed panel speakers. These three mountaineers will share the remarkable achievement of being the first from Singapore to reach the summit of Mt Everest.
Whether you’re a seasoned trekker or a beginner adventurer, this session promises insights, tips, and tales from the peaks. Come share your experiences and learn from fellow enthusiasts. See you at the summit of knowledge!
The session will take place on Sun, 5 May at Taste Orchard, Level 4, at 2pm.

Profile of our Panel Speakers
Mr Edwin Siew
Edwin has been an avid advocate educator for almost 20 years. He is especially known for facilitating learning through hands-on activities and creating impactful experiences in the great outdoors.
His passion for mountaineering has taken him to the peaks of Everest, Cho Oyu, Shisapangma, and Mount Vinson in Antarctica. He has also climbed the notorious K2 and many other Himalayan peaks.
Edwin is also the founder and owner of Incredible Journeys where he curates adventure journeys to help others to fulfill their own lifelong dreams.

Mr Teo Yen Kai
Teo Yen Kai, best known as Kai, summitted Mt Everest in 2005 as part of the NUS Centennial Everest Expedition team. In 2010, he also successfully climbed Mt Denali, the highest in North America.
Kai is the co-founder of the fitness center called 1Fiesta. He currently has 2 fitness centers (at Bugis and Jurong East), teaching group fitness classes such as Zumba fitness, Zumba Toning, HIIT, and circle mobility. He hopes to help everyone to become fitter and healthier by making fitness fun and enjoyable.

Ms Lee Li Hui
Li Hui is the first Singaporean woman to summit Mt Everest (2009) as part of the Singapore Women’s Everest Team. A strong champion for women overcoming limiting beliefs, she was also part of the first Singaporean duo to ski traverse Greenland from West to East (2013). More recently in November 2023, she returned to Nepal and successfully summited Ama Dablam, popularly known as ‘Matterhorn of the Himalayas’ and often regarded as one of the more technically difficult peaks.
In her professional career, Li Hui heads up Data Driven Underwriting across APAC for Swiss Re Reinsurance Solutions.
