Benefits of Outdoor Learning

Outdoor adventure activities provide opportunities for the connection of individuals with nature (the natural environment), direct connection with other people (interpersonal), and more importantly, with themselves (personal).

It promotes active learning. With direct personal experiences, individuals can learn about the world through adventurous activities such as hiking, rock climbing, abseiling, caving, and water activities, enhancing their focus on the environment.

It encourages intellectual, physical, and social development. Especially for students, not only will they learn to work together when experiencing an outdoor adventure, they will also be provided with opportunities to learn important life skills, like a sense of responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment at the end of their adventure.

It helps to build self-esteem and self-confidence. By being given a challenge, which an outdoor adventure can provide, individuals will learn to overcome their fears, and will be given opportunities to develop their independence, which will help to build their confidence.

It helps to develop a relationship with the environment. By experiencing the great outdoors, groups will learn to respect, appreciate, and enjoy what nature has to offer. It helps them to see themselves in a global context, developing an awareness of the importance of sustainability of the world’s natural resources.

Our Programme

We organize overseas adventure activities for schools and organizations. The activities are customized to meet the objectives, budget and trip duration of the group.

Our adventure activities can be designed and transformed into a journey based learning experience. The journey based learning experience aims to explore a journey in the context of possible learning and self-discovery in a challenging outdoor environment. Through such an outdoor adventure structured around journey based learning experience, it is possible to help bring out positive behaviour change and character development such as resilience, confidence, self-esteem and a sense of belonging.
